Trapped Beauty: Amber
The bright glow of amber has long been a thing of beauty in the eyes and around the necks of humans for countless years. From pendants to rooms with walls of pure amber, this humble gem is long sought after by many and the star of what has been coined the “Eighth Wonder of the World”: The Amber Room in St. Petersburg.
Construction of this wonder began in 1701 originally in Charlottenburg Palace. It was designed by German sculptor Schlüter, and produced by Danish amber craftsman Gottfried Wolfram for the King of Prussia. Peter the Great was presented the room as a gift, creating a Prussian-Russian alliance against Sweden.
18 large boxes, 180 square feet, and six tons of amber, worth $142 million. No wonder, in 1941, when German soldiers began to loot various art treasures, there were drastic attempts to disassemble and hide the Amber Room. “When the dry amber began to crumble, the officials instead tried hiding the room behind the thin wallpaper. But the ruse didn’t fool the German soldiers, who tore down the Amber Room within 36 hours, packed it up in 27 crates and shipped it to Königsberg, Germany. The room was reinstalled in Königsberg’s castle museum on the Baltic Coast. The museum's director, Alfred Rohde, was an amber aficionado and studied the room's panel history while it was on display for the next two years. In late 1943, with the end of the war in sight, Rohde was advised to dismantle the Amber Room and crate it away. In August of the following year, allied bombing raids destroyed the city and turned the castle museum into ruins. And with that, the trail of the Amber Room was lost.”
For more details of the amber tale, and information about the current reimagined Amber Room visit http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/a-brief-history-of-the-amber-room-160940121/.
For a gem who had no defense against its robbery, how interesting amber owes its very existence to the defense mechanisms of the tree. The sticky resin seals and sterilizes punctured or infected bark, trapping organisms who happen to be walking by. Without those imprisoned creatures, amber would have barely any value! With its translucent, golden sun glow, amber complements any tone and color. Come visit our collection at Golden Link Fine Jewelry, to find your piece of nature, history and wonder: amber.
More Than Hues of Blues
“I never met a color I didn’t like.” -Dale Chihuly.
Neither has the sapphire.
No doubt if someone told you to say the first word that comes to mind after hearing the word “sapphire” your first thought would be “blue.” But if someone told you to describe love as a color, what would you say? Sapphires, often walking hand in hand with romance, run the gamut when it comes to color. Believe it or not, “sapphire” is from the corundum mineral family and the term can refer to any of the corundum that are not rubies.
The “fancy sapphire” (any sapphire with a color other than blue) live in a wide range of colors- yellow, pink, white, green, purple, orange, black, and most hues in between. How do these sapphires contain such a variety of colors? It’s all up to the color-causing trace elements found inside. Iron and titanium are responsible for the blue hues, while chromium incites reds and pinks.
Special sapphires have a classification all their own. The Kashmir Sapphire named after the province in India where it is found, holds an intense blue hue, considered the finest color of sapphire. The Padparadschah Sapphire, found in Sri Lanka and named after the lotus blossom, encapsulates the warm pink-orange glow of the sun’s descent.
Sapphires have a special ability: the star effect (or asterism.) Seen in any color variety of sapphire, this six-ray star pattern across the surface is a result of white light reflecting from extremely fine needle shaped inclusions. When a gemstone is cabochon cut (shaped and polished) this beautiful phenomenon appears.
Minerals.net http://www.minerals.net/gemstone/sapphire_gemstone.aspx is a sapphire-mine of information and beautiful photos depicting the awe of the sapphire. Dig in to learn more. Then come down to Golden Link Fine Jewelry to see them in person and find which color (or colors) suits you the best!
There's a new friend in town: Moissanite
Diamonds have always been a girl's best friend, and probably always will be. No girl will ever deny a chance to extend her diamond collection. A man saves for months to pick just the right one, the perfect size, shape, and sparkle to represent how much he loves her and knows her. Suddenly she joins the ranks of the diamond holders, and can't wait to show it off.
But there's a new friend in town: Moissanite. A friend that's just as beautiful, but a little kinder on the bank account. To the naked eye, diamonds and moissanite are virtually interchangeable. So what's the difference?
"Diamonds have been known in India for millennia, having been treasured in their use in religious icons. Diamonds are formed when carbon is exposed to high pressure at a comparatively low-temperature range. They are only found in the lithospheric mantle below stable continental plates and at the site of meteor strikes. Moissanite is named after French chemist Henri Moissan, who discovered the rare mineral in a meteor crater. Moissanite occurs as an inclusion in other minerals. It is found only in the upper mantle rock of the earth and at the site of a meteor strike."
Diffen.com has constructed an easy to follow comparison page between Moissanite and Diamonds, equipped with facts, charts, and videos explaining the differences. Brilliance, hardness, crystal shape, electrical and thermal conductivity, and cost are all examined.
Diffen sites http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/earth/geology/moissanite5.htm as one of its references, "How Stuff Works" and delves even deeper into the Moissanite world explaining just exactly how it is produced.
Whether you'd prefer to stick to tradition with genuine diamonds, or would like to know more about the rising popularity of the Moissanite gemstone, Golden Link Fine Jewelry is here to lead the way. We provide our customers with the best quality jewelry and information about all our pieces. As always we have our finger on the pulse of what is trending in the jewelry world. The Valley of Rubies
There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like Golden Link Fine Jewelry, and there is no gem like the Ruby. Rich in history, lure, significance, and symbolism, the Ruby, which received its name from the Latin word 'ruber' meaning red, has remained one of the most desired gems.
Perhaps even more interesting than the reasons we've donned rubies for centuries is where they came and still come from. The Valley of Rubies: Mogok.
Located in Myanmar (Burma) Mogok. Until recently, this location has been off limits to foreigners. However, because of Myanmar's government loosening restrictions, the Gemological Institute of America was able to get an inside look at the Ruby's home, and the people who mine them. GIA has put together a 3 part expedition series, you can find it at
"In 1915, G.F. Kunz reported hearing a legend about how rubies originated in Mogok. The legend goes that around 2,000 years ago a serpent laid three eggs. The first egg bore the King of Bagan, the second egg bore an Emperor of China, and from the third egg came the rubies found in the ruby mines of Mogok." Among the legends of the Ruby, lies the facts about how they are formed "primarily by metamorphic events- the conditions that form mountain ranges- with rocks altered by both regional and local heat and pressure...The chance that a fine ruby will form is also dependent on slow cooling and enough time and space for the crystal to grow-rare combinations indeed."
As a sign of wealth, luck, and love, the Ruby makes a perfect gift for any loved one, or for your own collection.
Dive deeper into the valleys of Mogok, and the history of the Ruby, July's birthstone, before visiting Golden Link Fine Jewelry to find a Ruby of your very own.
How to Start Shopping for the Perfect Engagement Ring!
There are few things in life that a girl thinks about more than her wedding day. What fun it is to picture the cascading flower colors, the long white train of a lace dream dress, and of course... that little ring she’ll wear on her finger for all time. But, no pressure... Right? Nowadays, with the inventions of websites that let us save every single one of our conflicting preferences into pretty little folders, it’s nearly impossible to tell who this job is more stressful for, the girl wearing the ring, or the man choosing it!
Not to worry though... there are a myriad of places and people here to help. Now, the list of things to think about is anything but short, but lucky for us the Huffington Post, tied with The Knot, have put together “10 Things No One Tells You About Shopping For An Engagement Ring.” This daunting task is no small feat, choosing one piece of jewelry for the one person you love most, and hoping you get it right.
There are thousands of lists, dos and don’ts, charts, and diagrams, but what we forget to think about is what will actually be swirling around in our heads. Who do we talk to? What is an inclusion? Does she even like gold? What size is her finger? Can I even afford the perfect ring? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/the-knot/10-things-no-one-tells-yo_1_b_4482716.html has done the heavy lifting for us. Glance over this list of advice, take a breath and continue the search. Stop by Golden Link Fine Jewelry, where I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with the selection, and be able to pick out the ring that’s just right for your special someone.
To make your trip to Golden Link that much easier, take a peek at Gemological Institute of America’s Guide to selecting an engagement ring http://4cs.gia.edu/en-us/engagement-ring-buying-guide/ . It is full of helpful tips like:
“Know her ring size. If she wears rings, borrow one she already owns. Trace the inner circle on a piece of paper, or press the ring into a bar of soap for an impression. You can also slide it down one of your own fingers and draw a line where it stops. A jeweler can use these measurements to identify her approximate ring size.” They make it easy to keep your engagement a wonderful secret until it’s time, arming you with all the information you’ll need, and ways to get it without ruining the surprise. Here you’ll also find descriptions of each type of setting, and links to the 4Cs of diamond quality if that’s what she prefers.
Use these guides and Golden Link to make asking, “Will You Marry Me?” a piece of cake, preferably one with little replicas of you and your beloved perched on top.
Every Wedding Guest Dress Code Explained and Accessorized!
By Estee Claire - 1/1/0001
*White Tie, Black Tie, Formal, Festive...figuring out what clothes to wear is just the first step. How to accessorize can make the difference between off-kilter and appropriate flair.*
*When the invitation reads:*
* White Tie :* Think White House State dinners…the most prescribed of them all! Men are expected to wear a tuxedo with tails, a formal white shirt, white vest and bow tie, patent leather shoes, and sometimes even gloves. For women, formal, floor length gowns are expected—in solid colors. The
best accessories are elegant yet conservative; classic stud earrings, a slender tennis bracelet (real-deal or convincing look-a-likes), or a solitaire pendant for her, and for him black or gold cuff links and tux-studs. A word to the wise, watches are considered poor form, though a pocket watch that can be discreetly tucked away might be kind of spiffy.
* Black Tie :* Indicates an evening event. Women may wear full or mid-length dresses in solid colors or subtle prints, and men should wear a tux with a black bow tie. Go elegant but understated with accessories. Complement dress necklines with sophisticated gold necklaces and dressy hairstyles with chandelier earrings. The debate over watches with a tux can be quite contentious, but general consensus is that it’s OK if you stick to a conservative black strap with a slender face and metal details that match your cufflinks.
* Formal or Black Tie Optional : *Offers an excuse to get dressed up but leaves room for personal taste and expression. For her—an LBD with a sleek geometric necklace and matching earrings, for him a dark suit (not necessarily black) and cuff links with his monogram or striking mother-of-pearl details.
* Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual :*Whatever you might wear to a really nice restaurant, but it if you are not sure what that means it’s probably best to err on the side of “over-dressed” by accessorizing with something that will get noticed! Light-catching hammered silver is a good neutral for an LBD or a flouncy dress, while striking black cable can add texture to a dark suit.
* Festive Attire : *Often used on invitations for events during the holiday season, ‘festive’ is a euphemism for sparkle. Her outfit might have sequins or metallic fabrics that can be complimented with a stack of glittering bracelets or blingy in-and-out hoops. He can go for bright colors or a
jazzy tie, accented with ‘something blue’ cuff links or one of our new gold link bracelets.
* Rustic, Barn, Beach or Outdoor-Setting : *Usually means a laid-back event (forego the tie and maybe stick to these kinds of heels...). Depending on the attending crowd, outfits may lean towards ‘preppy,’ ‘southwest flair,’ or ‘tropical whites.’ Über cool organic-material accessories will fit in
well—how about a necklace with big baroque pearls or handful of fancy pearl rings for her, and braided leather or wood-inlay for him.

The Beauty Behind Alexandrite
We often think of world wonders in well-known lists, and often of massive proportion: pyramids, temples, gardens. However, not to be overlooked, is the alexandrite gemstone. Certainly a wonder, in a category all its own.
Alexandrite, named after Czar Alexander II of Russia, was discovered in Russia's Ural Mountains in the year 1830 and has survived as one of the world's most unique gems.
Really, a two-in-one stone, alexandrite is the "very rare color-change variety of the mineral chrysoberyl." Green in sunlight, and red in the lamplight, this rare gem makes the perfect day to night accessory, with no effort at all.
As if that were not enough, some alexandrite stones carry another phenomenon: the cat's eye. The Gemological Institute of America is a phenomenon in itself: providing a stunning visual and verbal description of alexandrite, its history, qualities, and even famous alexandrite stones. Equipped with photos, www.gia.edu/alexandrite#gem-overview is the perfect place to learn more.
Among many useful galleries, learn how to care for and clean alexandrite, the factors that make this gem so desirable, the in-depth history and lore behind the stone. Alexandrite has a one of a kind story, that only adds to the rarity and beauty of it.
Once you're thoroughly familiar with the stone, head on over to Golden Link, where you can find the perfect cut for you. Golden Link cares about providing you with fascinating pieces, rich in meaning and splendor, that remind you of earth's wonderment every time you look at them. Alexandrite is a perfect example of just that, certainly, a piece containing the stone will be something to show off and talk about.
Day to night, green to red, alexandrite is a lovely gem for all occasions, all seasons, and all people. "Emerald by day, ruby by night," adorn yourself with the gorgeous alexandrite.
*The Claddagh Ring *
Few pieces of jewelry transcend any condition of the heart, and move with love as it changes form.
Rich in history and significance, the claddagh ring holds in its small hands, a heart full of centuries of tradition, and an old tale of love and patience. Heavy with meaning in each turn, the claddagh is a symbol of friendship, hope, loyalty and commitment.
Stemming from the shores of Claddagh, a small fishing village outside of Galway, Ireland, the tale of the Claddagh ring has been carried across oceans and time. It has been said that Richard Joyce, a young man captured by pirates and ripped away from the woman he loved, crafted the Claddagh ring, bearing his own initials, as a symbol of their steadfast togetherness until they were reunited.
Perhaps our stories aren't quite as resplendent with adventure and heartache, but the meaning of the Claddagh is not lost on us. Therein lies a meaning for all of us, in the way the Claddagh sits.
Esther Ligthart, Bizzita.com 's jewelry blogger, took a special interest in the Claddagh ring. She explains how to wear your Claddagh ring according to the message you'd like to send. www.bizzita.com/the-claddagh-ring/
Golden Link is your ticket to bringing a token of the past, into your personal present. To give to the one you love, to symbolize the state of your own heart, or simply because they are beautiful pieces of art, steeped in old Irish tradition.
Claddagh rings have stood the test of time, slightly changing in form as the rest of the world stamped its individuality on the original. There is a Claddagh ring design for every personality, and Golden Link can help you find the ring after your own heart, or for the one whose heart you are after.

Signed, sealed, delivered... the signet ring is yours. According to GQ Magazine, "Signet Rings Are Back!" Most of us have one lying in a jewelry box, generations old. Some of us can remember the light reflecting off the hunk of gold that held onto our grandfather's pinky finger as he told stories from before our time. But signet rings date much further back than even our great grandparents. The Antique Jewelry University has put together a simple, brief, visual history of the signet ring. It shows how these rings have changed both in style and function from the Mesopotamian Era, until today. Scroll through the history of the signet ring, as you see it evolve from the signature of kings, to the "mark of the gentleman." http://university.langantiques.com/index.php/Signet_Ring
Today, where and how you wear the ring is a matter of personal preference. Just know they are back and popularly worn by men, and women, all around the world. Golden Link Fine Jewelry will help you personalize a ring tailored to your style, that will live on for generations! When you're ready, simply come in with the crest or symbol you’d like engraved, and we will work with you to determine, the rest: whether you want an oval, round, cushion, or squared face! Don’t have a crest or symbol, don’t worry anyone can create one and have their own custom designed ring. Come in and explore the age-old options with us!
THE STORY BEHIND THE OPAL
It is easy for us, peering into glass cases, pointing out our favorite combination of iridescent opals. Golden Link certainly gives us an abundance to choose from, but any opal you decide to take home was a hard earned, precious, find for the one who found it. National Geographic does us a favor, by taking us to Coober Pedy, Australia - the opal capital of the world. Coober Pedy is where opals become a livelihood, and every tiny piece can make or break someone's day, even year. Follow these passionate miners underground. See how the earth produces these beautiful gems, and what it takes to get them from deep below our feet, to the tips of our fingers.
THE TRUTH BEHIND THE PEARL
"The pearl is the queen of gems, and the gem of queens." -anonymous
From Empress Marie-Louise of France and Philip Henry Hope, to Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe, the pearl has been a coveted and treasured gem since long ago. But long before a pearl can sit comfortably on the neck of a queen, it humbly begins inside its own natural jewelry box- the mollusk.
Although pearls do form on their own, human intervention has produced many of the cultured pearls we see and wear today. Freshwater pearls, like the ones available at Golden Link, are produced in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and colors.
What's the difference between natural and cultured pearls? How can I tell a genuine pearl from an imitation? What does the surface, shape, and color of my pearl tell me about where it came from, or how valuable it really is? The Gemological Institute of America can answer all of these questions and much more. So, before you choose which one of our gorgeous pearl pieces you'd like for your collection, take a peek into the life of a pearl...from mollusk to matching sets.

Haviv and Sandy are simply the best to work with! Lovely, genuine people who really take the time to be sure you are getting exactly what you want. They truly want their customers to be happy with their selections. I took my original diamond engagement solitaire to Haviv for a make over and was absolutely stunned when I picked it up! Seriously, it made my heart skip a beat! The workmanship is excellent and I catch myself throughout the day just staring at my updated ring! Haviv and Sandy are true professionals in every sense of the word. Their passion for jewelry and their commitment to their craft and customers is unparalleled. Always ready to help, very pleasant and accomodating.
I never have a problem dealing with them. They are cordial, quick to do their work and very reasonable in they charges. Would be happy to recommend them to friends and family Tom Zellen
We love this family jewelry store. My husband has all his watches serviced here and I had a bracelet repair as well. Joyce is amazing and very helpful too.
It took me some time to bring my mom's jewelry in after her death. She wanted me to make something for myself. I was not sure what I wanted to. Haviv had all the answers. I now have a beautiful pendant and ring, both of which are simply perfection. My mom would have loved them! I now feel like I carry part of her with me as I gaze at my new jewelry. Haviv, I cannot thank you enough!
My $17 ring turned into a priceless ring!
A friend recommended the Golden Link for a repair. I bought a $17 vintage ring and the next day it broke, but I loved it and wanted to repair it. Haviv was not only quick but he listened to all my concerns and he fixed the ring how I wanted it and focused on my requests. I like the worn out tarnish look and he added that and on top of that ordered a fake diamond in the teardrop shape and replaced the plastic diamond that the ring came with originally. It looks beautiful and flawless! I'm so beyond happy and within a few hours of wearing my new ring I got three compliments! I recommend anyone go for a repair, custom jewelry, or just to splurge! His wife is such a fun person to talk to! She's warm and inviting and she knows diamonds (real or fake) are a girls best friend! Thank you both for an amazing experience! I will be sure to spread the word and come back soon!
In 1 word FABULOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BEST jeweler on the north shore! I had 1 ring repaired and 2 made. Haviv hand crafted the exact ring my mother in law had from the 1950's. Came out more beautiful than the original. He is really an expert in his field. Forget the big chain jewelry stores. I went to DeCenza in Peabody - I wanted my mother in laws ring recreated - the ring is a small white gold eternity band with tiny chips of diamonds on it, and a small size 4 - no big deal, more of a sentimental value. They kept it for 2 weeks as it was sent out and then came back with a $2500 price tag! Are they kidding??? No way - went down the street to Haviv at the Golden Link - he recreated the ring - it is perfect and charged me 1/4th of the price. I mean really...I will never go to another jewelry store again. Haviv does all his work in house - he is a master at his craft. and his wife...what a doll. SO helpful. I say - lets do business with the locals. They stand by their product and their products represent them so the job is done right. Thanks again Haviv and Sandy!
Been a customer for many, many years and have always been satisfied with the items. Customer service and quailty are their top priority. Totally stand behind their merchandise.
I love my new ring! It's even more beautiful than I expected it to be. Haviv got it exactly right, as usual. I have several pieces of jewelry from Golden Link. I went in with something in mind and got exactly what I wanted. Haviv and Sandy and their staff always make me feel welcome and comfortable and help me make the right decisions for my style. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you!
A Diamond as Big as the Ritz
Sandi & Haviv have more than outdone themselves on our engagement ring. My fiancee wanted a pear shaped, yellow diamond and they delivered a stunning stone that far exceeded our expectations. She wanted a "WOW" diamond and that is what was received. This was coordinated 3000 miles apart in San Diego with a trip back to the east coast to meet and view the stone in person. It was exquisite!! A beautiful evening, a beautiful diamond, and she said YES!! Sandi & Haviv are an amazing couple and team to work with and they will take care of you every step of the way without hesitation just like they did for me. Drive in, walk in, or fly in and you will be certain to experience the same first class treatment that I received.
A friend of mine highly recommended Golden Link, and they did not disappoint. Haviv and Sandy were very helpful with the design of the engagement ring. They were very honest and fair about the prices and were even able to provide an excellent appraisal of the ring. I couldn't be happier with the service and my fiancé loves the ring. I will be coming back here for all of my jewelry needs.
A wonderful family-owned business
It is rare in these times to find a remarkable small business. Golden Link is the exception to the rule. You are immediately treated like a member of the family and get service unlike anything you see at any larger jewelry store or chains. Haviv and Sandy are passionate about jewelry and it definitely shows to anyone in the store. Great selection of items, speedy repairs, and fair reasonable prices!
Very honest and very creative! It's like family going into that store as they really get to know you and what you like and don't like. I've given this jeweler some pieces from my mother in the past and he gave me some suggestions I wouldn't have thought of to do with the pieces. Love their taste. Great prices when comparing. It's the only jeweler I use now. Love them!
Best Jewerly Store!
The Golden Link is a wonderful jewelry store! Sandy and Haviv treat their customers like family and always give you the best quality! All my jewelry, including my Wedding ring and band are all handmade by Haviv! You will get the best customer service and leave feeling wonderful. Try It You'll Like It!
The Golden Link is the best place for buying and recycling old jewelry into something new. I've been doing business with Haviv and Sandy for as long as they have owned the store. I've never been disappointed with anything Haviv has made for me, or jewlery that I have purchased. They are honest and reputable people. I'd recommend them to anyone. They get an A+ in my book. Go there and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Love, Love, Love their jewelry!!
Probably the friendliest store that I shop at anywhere. I'm always greeted with a smile and made to feel like part of the Golden Link family when I visit. Great selection, but the best part is that Haviv will turn any ideas I have in my head into custom designed reality. He's a real craftsman! Skip the mall jewelry stores where the prices and quality are hit or miss at best - the Golden Link will treat you right every time.
The ownly jeweler worth visting
Most recently Sandy and Haviv helped me design a perfect pair of diamond earrings. They understood exactly what I wanted by asking me questions and showing me options. The earrings were exactly what I wanted...until they weren't. When I told Sandy that I loved the earrings but wished I had chosen something that I could wear daily, she immediately had a solution. She suggested I could transform the earrings into a pair of diamond studs then use the rest of the earring as a "jacket" to dress up the studs. All of a sudden my perfect earrings were even more perfect. The service at Golden Link is friendly and approachable. Sandy and Haviv's expertise helps me make the right choices. Haviv's custom design work is flawless and phenomenal. This is why Sandy and Haviv have been my family's jeweler of choice for 25+ years.
Truly a wonderful experience
From the greeting to the good bye, Golden Link provides a warm and comfortable feeling for the customer. Haviv and Sandi go beyond to assist you in your purchases. I just recently saw a lovely piece of jewelry but not was prepared to buy at that time. Haviv very nicely offered to hold the piece until I could return. It is a very friendly ambience at Golden Link!!! Go You will like it
Talented jeweler who takes pride in his work!
I won't go anywhere else. In this day, it is hard to find a dedicated, trustworthy, personal jeweler. I have used them several times of the past few years and feel lucky to have found them (through a friend). I've bought a pearl ring, a pearl necklace for my daughter, and a topaz ring. They have also fixed many pieces for me. He and his wife are so professional and know jewelry. Two years I went in looking for a graduation gift for my daughter, his wife was so nice and directed me to the pearl necklaces. He changed the clasp because she told him, it should be more modern. My daughter LOVED it and has worn it several times. They designed my topaz ring and I love it. I also brought several rings to be repaired and I felt so comfortable leaving them. One ring has very little value other than sentimental - his wife, totally understood. They are adorable together and work together so well. I just brought a watch to be fixed (I bought it several years ago someplace else). He replaced the crystal, new battery and a small diamond chip, barely noticeable but she said it was worth it and told him to do it - - it is very endearing to see her tell him what should be done to even the smallest piece of jewelry. I won't go any where else - I won't let my daughters or my husband go anywhere else.
Favorite Jewelry Store
Golden Link is the best and most trustworthy Jewelry store that I have ever had dealings with. I have left priceless diamond jewelry there and they have created new pieces and fixed ones beyond my wildest drams. I have entrusted them with my mother's diamond rings while I have been deciding what I would do to modernize them. Haviv and Sandy are very helpful when I have needed gifts for others. Haviv is a very talented designer. He has designed original pieces for my entire family. They also make you feel like part of their family when they deal with you.
Top notch customer service . Great selections if fine jewelry !!!!
Each and every visit is consistently excellent
Golden Link surpasses other jewelers in aspects of honesty, reliability , and fairness . They do it all from battery replacement to creating the most beautiful unique pieces either from your materials or utilizing their own stock of metals and gem stones. They will order anything you want from their numerous catalogs at prices far below retail. I have loved working with both of the owners over many years and I have never been disappointed. They are extremely creative. They go to many jewelry shows and are knowledgeable about the coming trends. It is a wonderful shop very welcoming and I am happy to recommend them.
ALWAYS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.
Haviv and Sandra are experts when it comes to jewelry and always are able to provide me with what I want or need....They are always behind whatever that is whether it is a purchase, a repair, or just good advice. We have been going to Golden Link for over 20 years and they are always the best from customer service to their beautiful jewelry. Both Sandy and Haviv provide top notch service and we would never trust anyone else when buying our jewelry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
A very happy customer!
I have known Sandy and Haviv since I was a little girl. I use to come in to the store and Sandy would let me try on all of her diamonds. I've always dreamed about the day I would have one of my own. I got married last January and of course my husband went to Golden Link for my engagement ring, and the ring was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We got our bands there as well. I highly recommend Golden Link and I can assure you, you won't be disappointed!
When it comes to buying a piece of jewelry for my wife Sandy always hits a home run with her expertise. Thanks!
Sandy & Haviv helped me pick out and design a gorgeous diamond ring. Their knowledge and attention to detail made it a simple process. I highly recommed Golden Link!
I have purchased many items from Golden Link both for gifts and for myself. Sandy and Haviv are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to picking out jewelry. Haviv is a superb and creative designer. I would highly recommend golden Link!
I went into Golden Link for a repair on my wedding ring I was greeted promptly and professionally. I feel the repairs and replacement toy jewelry were extremely well done and reasonably priced. I am very pleased and brought another item here. I would definitely go back to Golden Link and would refer anyone to them.
Golden Link puts the "B" in bling
I have been a customer for 20 years and have had many pieces designed and created. If your looking for quality diamonds at a "reasonable" price - stop looking and walk in to see for yourself. The brilliance and color in every diamond/precious stone is simply beautiful. Uniqueness and quality make this husband and wife team unbeatable!!!
23+ years and still going
My family and I have been going there for 23+ years... Great family owned business!! Wouldn't trust anyone else to do my repairs!
Best Jewelry, Best Jewelers!!!!!!!
I absolutely love the Golden Link!! The owners, Haviv and Sandi are very knowledgeable about gems and metals and I feel safe with them - knowing I'll always get top quality jewelry at a great price!! Haviv actually custom designed my wedding ring insert 20 years ago and it is beautiful. Recently my husband passed away and Haviv suggested to me that he could melt down his wedding ring and create a 2-heart, gold pendant with the three diamonds inside of it. This pendant is gorgeous and it means so much to me to wear this because it is my husband's wedding ring!! I get compliments on this daily!! Buy your jewelry at the Golden Link. It's much better than the chain jewelry stores. Haviv and Sandi care about their customers and it's much more personal here!! One visit and you'll be hooked!! I promise!!
I don't shop for Jewelry anywhere else!
I drive over 30 miles one way - for all my new jewelry, repairs, and appraisals to shop at La Link! They are honest, helpful and their items are not to be found everywhere and I appreciate that! Haviv is a fabulous designer in his our right! Sandy has a fabulous eye, knows her pieces or what she can bring in especially for YOU! I've never felt pressured into a decision, love all of my pieces and the compliments I get on them
LOOKING FOWARD IN GOING BACK
Friendly people great service which the experience very good and would highly recommend
Sandy and Haviv are the best. I feel like family when I go into their jewelry shop and not just like a customer. They have some very unique gorgeous jewelry I have ever seen and a lot of one of a kind pieces. Strangers come up to me complimenting me on my jewelry that's how nice it is. I buy gifts there but more so more for myself. I just love my "bling".
Great service and great taste.
Always have good luck when I am looking for something special. Just purchased earrings for a special occasion and suggested at the perfect earring. Finished off the look and they are beautiful.
